I'd better skip the answer. I'll just cry in my Mercedes and get on with my day. I'll try to forget this bad feeling by buying a new purse or, even better, go to that exclusive mountain spa next Monday.
Being an online model brings a really sad existence.
Sometimes we don't even have the time to spend the money that we earn, so we go out buying houses, cars, gifts for our family members. Most of us have our own businesses after a few years. Funny thing: we don't rely on men and we don't have bosses. You'd be amazed to know what we know.

I've been camming since Law School - about 5 years ago. I started when I realized that I don't want to live with my folks until I'm 30, and then be stuck with a slimy boss that calls me “girlie”, hoping to make it in this world. I started online modeling with a legal contract, private medical care, and a Wednesday - Sunday schedule (the weekend brings a lot of money), from 8 AM to about 5 or 6 in the afternoon.

I've traveled to more countries than I could ever imagine. I went there when I wanted and when I had the time for it, not when I found a discount. I didn't go to meet up with a member, because I'm too smart to go for the small win. Now I can afford flying in Business Class if the flight takes more than a couple of hours. I went to the Maldives, the Canaries, all across Europe, Dubai, Mexico, and I even made it to Singapore. On my dime. There are people around me in every picture, I'm not just sitting on the yacht and staring into the sea. No one buys that crap anymore!
My day begins at 6 AM with gym training for an hour, breakfast and then I'm off to the studio. I put on my make-up and I go online. The fun begins! I have devoted members and I know everything about them. I can exchange stories with them and I can ask them for advice. Sometimes I have the feeling that these strangers that I've never met are closer to me than people I grew up with.
Let me tell you something: there are private sites and free chat sites. The latter are the ones that you know about, where naked girls talk into the camera. I do online modeling at Studio 20 and they are gold partners with LiveJasmin, which is a Premium site (that means that if someone wants me to take my clothes off, they pay to go to a private conversation and things happen there or they don't. I refuse and have always refused to do things I'm not totally comfortable with).
To put in words something that everybody knows but no one wants to accept as fact: my members don't come for the 5 minutes of pleasure. If they seek a quick release, they can go on any free porn site.
Does it make sense? It totally does! Yet another shocking fact.
Sometimes I take a lunch break, other times I eat in a private session - I have a few members that like to have lunch with me. I finish my shift and drive home, but the traffic is the same even if you have an expensive car, so I sometimes get frustrated (like everyone else) behind the wheel.
I get home and go out with my friends, clean up a bit or read something. Eleven o'clock usually finds me sleeping. I have a pretty disciplined lifestyle, with no excess, no heartaches, no clubbing, and no sleepless nights.
Or I could have just told her: “Hello, I am Julie and I started online modeling 5 years ago. After just 3 years I managed to buy a car and an apartment for which I don't have to pay monthly installments until I am 90 because I paid them in full. Now I've bought two more apartments which I rent out. I'll abandon online modeling in about 3 years, after I've bought some more condos and the rent money will be enough to make me decide if I ever want to work again, start another business, travel around the world or raise children. Because I'll have a choice!”.
