No matter how many "first dates" you went out to and no matter how experienced you are when it comes to men, especially considering that you work as a webcam model, there are always those "butterflies in your tummy" the first time you go out with someone new. You never know what to expect, you don't know if you will like them as much in person as you did online or wherever you started talking, and you are not sure how much you should share the first time you meet.
This is why we prepared a step-by-step guide to walk you through the most important aspects you have to check before, during, and after your first date. Of course, it all depends on the circumstances, but most of the things you will read below apply in the majority of the situations. Without further ado, check our list and tell us below, in the comments section, if you agree with it or you wish to change something.
1. Make sure he is NOT one of your members. This is something extremely unlikely, but it's best to be careful. Therefore, the first thing you must check is that the guy asking you out is NOT one of your members. The reasons are obvious: first of all, these relations are not encouraged, and they must remain strictly professional. Secondly, if he knows you from a private session, it's very possible that he developed a crush or even an obsession towards you, therefore it's not safe to be around him, physically. However, as we already mentioned, the chances of this happening are less than .1% since members from the same country as you are usually blocked from interacting with you in private sessions.
2. Choose the "coming out" moment very wisely. People usually "come out of the closet" about their sexuality, but this time we mean something else. Of course, we are referring to the moment you will tell him that you work in online modeling. Even if we are strictly talking about non-adult online modeling, you can never be sure of his reaction, especially if he barely knows anything about this domain. Most certainly, he will feel that you are cheating on him, even though your professional activity doesn't involve anything sexual. Therefore, you must decide if you tell him before going out, during the first date, or later. Our suggestion: trust your intuition and let this information slip in whenever you feel he is the most prepared to face it.
3. Just be yourself. Last but not least, the most important thing during a first date, as well as during your interview and, later, the private sessions with your members, is to just be yourself. If you try to impress him too much or try to be someone who you are not, you will mess things up sooner rather than later, and you will forget what you told him. Therefore, the easiest thing to do is just be yourself and always tell the truth - unlike lies, the truth is only one.
