When this new year began, we were hopeful, we thought 2020 is going to be the best, and we were so optimistic about our future. Then, almost in an instant, everything changed when the pandemic was declared and the state of emergency was imposed in almost every country. Nobody, not even futurologists or mediums, could predict this outcome. However, as always, we had to adapt and make the most out of what we have. We worked from home, we started to wear a mask, and we learned new concepts such as "social distancing" or "thermal scanning".
However, 2020 was COVID's year, not Grinch's year. Therefore, nobody can steal Christmas from us! Even though we no longer have the traditional fairs or concerts, and we can't invite or visit all our friends and relatives, it will still be a very special end of the year. Christmas is a state of mind and it depends on each of us how we celebrate it. And, because you made it through the ordeal, you deserve to smile and be happy, while hoping that next year will turn out how you want it. Here are some special lyrics for you.
