1. Yellow peaches. Yellow peaches are much better than the white variety, both in terms of taste, as well as their refreshing effect. They have high levels of juiciness and their taste makes them some of the most sought-after fruits. Furthermore, they can be consumed either raw or baked;
2. Mangoes. Mangoes are the kings of sweet fruits, with their exotic flavor and their perfect aftertaste. Not to mention their silky texture, especially when they are completely ripe. In addition, they go well with rice and in other exciting and nutritious recipes;

3. Watermelon. A slice of watermelon is, basically, a large glass of sweet-tasting and cool water since this fruit contains over 90% water. The chubby red and green fruit could be considered the international symbol of holidays by the pool and, given its taste, it must be God's gift to humanity;
4. Apricots. Apricots look so good, with their strong color and soft and smooth skin, that you almost feel sorry for eating them. However, you shouldn't miss this opportunity since their taste is equally fantastic. Their higher price, compared to peaches or melons, shouldn't be an impediment for you;
5. Strawberries. Strawberries are quite problematic because some of the largest ones, found in supermarkets, can be tasteless. But once you find the right ones, you won't be able to stop eating them. If you ask 10 children to name their favorite fruit, 8 or 9 of them will say strawberries, and everyone knows that children can't be wrong;
6. Cherries. Cherries have a delightful taste, that will make you forget the fact that you have to spit the pits after each one of them. However, when you buy them, make sure you don't confuse them with sour cherries or else you will have a bitter surprise;
7. Cantaloupe. Cantaloupe is watermelon's younger cousin, but some people prefer it, even though it might be considered too sweet and sugary. A really surprising and refreshing way of consuming it is by wrapping the slices in prosciutto and having a glass of prosecco or Porto wine next to it;
8. Plums. Last but not least, plums are the perfect balance of sweet and bitter, and they are really cool both literally and figuratively, considering their shape and intense color. They are one of the best choices for a pie filling. That being said, what are your favorite summer fruits?
